Last week we had the arrival of twins at our orphanage after their mother died from a heart attack. The three month old twins came from the south of Malawi where flooding has been very bad.

On 27th December Harrogate rugby club put on a charity match extravaganza with a battle between the Under 35’s v Over 35’s, the youngsters victorious in a 43 v 15 (estimated!) final score.

Today is world AIDS day to raise awareness of the illness and to support those people affected by the disease. At Open Arms Infant Homes in Malawi, it’s a reminder of the plight the illness causes. 11% of Malawians are HIV+.
