On Friday night, several of us were treated to a phenomenal evening of entertainment by a fantastic group of local magicians called 'The Conjurors'. Not only did they inspire and astound all of us with their mind-blowing illusions, storytelling and predictions, they also helped to raise significant support for some of Malawi's most vulnerable children ❤
Now that is truly magic that makes a difference!
Involving eight talented magicians from Harrogate Society of Magicians, York Magic Circle, Leeds Magic Circle and Merlins of Wakefield, 'The Conjurors' presented a variety of acts, celebrating different styles of magic and bringing a wonderfully diverse, interactive and family-friendly show that offered something for everybody.
No doubt many of us are still scratching our heads in wonder!
Below are just a few highlights from the evening...
On behalf of all of us at Open Arms, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to all those involved for not only bringing many of us together for a fantastic night, but also for raising over £660 for the children in Malawi.
To G&T Magic, Justin Arnold, Gary Potter, Zen Magic, Bethan Simms, Adrian Salamon, Brendan Cafferty and Ray Roberts - and of course to Pannal Village Hall who generously hosted the evening - thank you for helping to provide lifesaving support for extremely vulnerable babies and children in Malawi, giving them the chance to grow up healthily and enjoy a brighter future with their families.
Together you've made a wonderful difference and we hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did!
“I'm still pondering! So many fabulous illusions and stories that were beautifully delivered. I got really emotional, which I didn't expect. Nor did I expect so much hilarity! A great, great show - unlike anything I've seen before. Brilliant!” - Lindsey, audience member
