Why join us?

At Open Arms, we believe that every child has the right to survival and development. We provide essential care for Malawi’s abandoned and vulnerable children, giving them the chance to achieve their potential within the love and security of a home. Our principal aim is to support the return of fit and healthy toddlers to their extended families. We work closely with local communities to build brighter futures for children and their families for generations to come.

Our support network includes organisations, businesses, schools, community groups and individuals alike. Ambassadors host their own fundraisers and initiatives that raise vital funds for Open Arms, as well as take part in our campaigns, events and appeals and speak in their own communities.

This year, we are looking for Volunteer Ambassadors to champion our work, and encourage their own communities to participate in our events and campaigns.

Does this interest you?

You could already be familiar with Malawi’s challenges, or someone who is a key member of your community and looking to champion children’s rights.

A Volunteer Ambassador would help advertise existing campaigns through word-of-mouth or on social media, and jump on board when we host events. You could hold your own fundraising campaigns and grow our network.
